What is your cancellation policy?

Please note – Refunds for 1.5, 2, and 2.5 hour bookings will be given in full IF a reservation is cancelled with more than 3 days (72 hours) notice. Refunds for 1 hour groups will be given in full IF a reservation is cancelled with more than 1 day (24 hours) notice.

What age is considered a child?

Children under the age of 16 qualify for child pricing for bookings.  

I am under 19 can I come to Halimac/Jack Axes?

You can but you have to have a legal adult with you for the entirety of your booking. You also need your parent/guardian to sign your waiver form. In Halifax – anyone under 19 must have their booking complete by 10:00 PM.

How Much Does It Cost?

1 Hour is $21.95 + tax per person

1.5 Hours is 27.95 + tax per person

2 hours is $31.95+tax per person

Kids 16 and under get discounted price

Is there a minimum number of people needed to book?

HELL NO, Come by yourself, with a friend, or with a giant group, it’s all good to us

Can anyone come to Halimac?

Ability, age, gender and stature don’t matter. Our customers come in all shapes and sizes and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

What clothing is appropriate?

Up to you really! But…. we recommend loose fitting clothing to provide you with the mobility to throw. No open toed shoes (for your own safety), and heels are not recommended.

What are the rules while I’m at Halimac?

List of Rules:
  1. All groups participate in an axe-throwing training period to begin their booking.
  2. Excessive alcohol intake will not be tolerated.
  3. Employees reserve the right to cut off anyone from drinking and throwing axes
  4. Alcohol to be kept in a specific area, separate from the throwing lanes.
  5. Safety procedures regarding axe-throwing will be clearly posted, demonstrated, and adhered to.

What will my experience be like in a large group (7+ ppl.)?

After welcoming you to the lanes, we will introduce you to the venue rules, any public health measures that are needed, show you how to throw, and tell you how to play, before setting up a group tournament to crown a champion!

What will my experience be like in a small group (2-6 ppl)?

After welcoming you to the lanes, we will introduce you to the venue rules, any public health measures that are needed, show you how to throw, and tell you how to play. Our coaches will ensure everyone can land an axe!

How do I make a booking?

Click on the book now button, choose your location, select the date, and length of booking, and then choose from the available times. ONE person’s fee is required as a deposit.
